Data collection and analysis is an essential component of strong instruction. Below are a variety of examples of how I have collected and utilized data.
NJSLA Data & Common Benchmark AssessmentAs part of the summer assessment team, we reviewed NJSLA data to determine an area of focus for the assessment. We reviewed evidence statements and chose one as a focus for our Common Benchmark Assessment.

Panorama EducationPanorama Education is a data management tool that collects data on standardized assessments, attendance, grades, and student survey data. This data I use as team leader to make academic and behavior plans for students.

Student Feedback - Google Forms
Students have insight on their needs and their own learning goals. I utilize Google Forms to gather data from students to plan my instruction as well as create small groups. Up to date data is essential to ensure all students are challenged in a classroom. Here is a sample of how I used it for an Argument Writing Unit.
